Nashville!

We had a great time at the SPBGMA 39th Annual Bluegrass Music Awards & 30th National Convention held at the Sheraton Hotel in Nashville, TN.  Bruce loves to MC the contest while the kids spend their time jamming.  If you’ve never been to this festival, you should make plans to attend next year or check out their other festivals scattered throughout the midwest.

A Special Thanks!

We want to send out a very special Thank you to all of our fans who voted The Punches Family “Entertaining Band of the Year” & Bruce “Entertainer of the Year” with the SPBGMA organization!  We have had a great year and look forward to another year full of Bluegrass & Gospel music in 2013!  Thanks!

New York

We just left New York state, what a beautiful time of year to visit.  The trees were brightly colored and the countryside was breath taking.  We had a chance to visit Bruce’s old college roommate.  He & his wife live in the Buffalo area.  He took us to see Fort Niagra, which was a wonderful history lesson for us.  We also visited Interlaken, where we sung in a church that was organized in 1819.  The Building was built in the mid 1800s and was having some restoration done on it while we were there.  We also went up to Croghan, which is the home of Croghan Bologna.  Thanks to Margie for sharing your World famous bologna with us.  Bruce always says “at our house its nothing special just bologna,  but when company comes, we fry it!”  Well, this                                                                                was some special bologna!
